The wheels on this bike are double walled aluminum and are equipped with semi knobby 27.5×1.95” CST tires which offer a great balance for road, gravel, and off-road trail riding. Motor/Battery: The eTrail bike uses a powerful 500W MXUS rear hub motor and a 48V Greenway battery with Samsung cells. The bike features 5 different assist levels with a top speed of 20 MPH that can be controlled with a thumb throttle. The battery has an estimated range of 29-35 miles depending on assist level and a 8 hour charge time making this a great bicycle for hitting the hitting the trails and going off-road. The LCD display on the handlebars is easy to navigate and displays different outputs including battery level, motor output, assistance level, speed, as well as trip length and total distance. Shifting/Brakes: This bike is equipped with a 1×8 Shimano Altus group set with a 44T chainring in the front and 12-32T cassette in the rear. The brakes equipped are power shutoff mechanic disk brakes with 160mm rotors for safe and powerful stopping on all surfaces.
